FRANK’s innovative design for this Calgary-based Vietnamese restaurant reflects the brand’s identity, as well as the simplicity and freshness of the food concept. The layout of the space serves functional needs for takeout service, while the bright open space and communal tables create an inviting and social environment for seated dining.

By combining natural colours and materials including wood, stone, and glazed terracotta tile with a fresh and simple palette, FRANK created a relaxed, hip, and welcoming atmosphere for NAM’s first location on 8th Street S.W. Simple but masterful craftsmanship seen in lighting details, millwork finishes, custom furniture details, and hand-painted signage reflect the quality and care of NAM’s offerings — much like their made-from-scratch pho broth.

NAM’s two food court locations at Market Mall and Chinook Centre in Calgary share the same attention to detail and consistency of materials, where similar fresh and simple palettes were used to help the restaurant stand out from the fast-food pack. These compact spaces embody the playful charm and friendly character of the brand which has become a familiar face in the city.
