This popular market and bakery in the lower lobby of the Fairmont Chateau Whistler has a rustic and casual feel that caters to the hotel’s international jet-set clientele. Functional service counters and flexibility were essential in designing a space that could easily transition from day to night.

Inspired by the awe-inspiring, iconic location in the Rocky Mountains, FRANK introduced a warm, neutral palette made up of natural materials including salvaged wood, flagstone, marble, and leather. Locally made harvest tables and cozy armchairs complete the space, making it the perfect spot to settle in for a beer and a fresh sandwich after a day on the slopes.
