Chuck’s Steakhouse is rooted in Alberta culture and celebrates the history of the province’s ranch lands. Using the province’s rural history as inspiration, FRANK incorporated traditional rustic materials and a collection of eclectic western textiles sourced locally to give the sense of dining in a private ranch house.
Colourful textiles and playful art are layered over traditional rustic wood panelling details, giving the space a personality as unique as the Albertan cowboy. Large, comfortable booths and varied seating types throughout the space foster a social and interactive dining atmosphere. The space features a semi-open kitchen and seated bar, a large wood-burning fireplace, sweeping mountain views, and sightlines onto the bustling Banff Avenue below.
Subtle mid-century modern elements are woven throughout the space as a nod to classic steakhouses. A combination of heavy, leather-wrapped chairs, dark wood floors, mirrored ceilings, and wall treatments alongside authentic Albertan décor items such as a wagon wheel chandelier and cowboy art provide plenty of visual stimulation to diners as they enjoy their aprés-ski meal.
