The Glencoe Club is Calgary’s premier private sports and social club and required upgraded hospitality spaces to support the club’s commitment to creating exceptional experiences for their members. The forward-thinking project included careful consideration of operational and functional goals to create an elevated food and beverage offering, while providing club members with a “home away from home.” The extensive three-phase transformation was completed in 2020 and includes a diverse mix of hospitality and event spaces, ranging from a classic Scottish-style pub, an upscale fine dining restaurant with outdoor patio, and sophisticated ballroom for hosting formal events.

Crush is a flexible event space that provides an elegant first impression for the function spaces in the club. Feminine blush and champagne tones add subtle pops of colour, and intimate custom furniture groupings create an upscale but approachable setting for guests to relax and socialize. The meeting and club rooms have been designed with flexibility in mind, including three separate spaces with classic detailing that can be opened and combined with the ballroom space to host larger gatherings.

Featuring a subdued palette with luxurious finishes and delicate details, the Ballroom is a sophisticated backdrop for member events of up to 300 people. Bespoke light fixtures with brass detailing provide ambient illumination and bring an upscale elegance to the space. The renovated commercial kitchen has been reconfigured to increase service efficiencies and the dedicated function bar and custom-designed millwork serveries make the space perfect for any event.
