At the base of the main lift and the heart of the resort, The Approach is a refreshing revisitation of the roots of mountain culture. The hotel’s two buildings boast 102 rooms, a restaurant (Alto Pizza), and a café.

The design emphasizes function and economy, with rooms specifically outfitted as a basecamp for mountain adventures. Unnecessary embellishments have been banished, and in the spirit of trailblazers, the design offers a celebration of the essential.

The room mix maximizes offerings for group travel with many bunk beds, lofts, and two-queen bedroom options. Each room contains a unique black and white photograph that anchors the space and boldly represents the drama of the surrounding peaks. Case goods are outfitted with gear hooks.
